Spend the money on the prep, not the colour
The finish that fails early is almost never the powder, it is what was under it. For outdoor steel in an Ontario or Prairie road-salt winter, hot-dip galvanize first, then powder coat (a duplex system). One coat of powder over bare, un-blasted steel is a two-winter finish, and swapping to a fancier colour does nothing to save it. Pay for blasting or galvanizing before you pay for a custom colour.
